Literature Text

I begin to convulse,
The pain, the rattling of my bones, is agonizing,
As my skeletal frame begins to rearrange,
I try to resist, but fail this fate renders me incapable of repulse

Every living fiber of me takes on a new form,
I howl alone in sorrow and disgrace,
I am ashamed of the monster I have become,
I want to rebel from this fate not to conform

My heart is tattered,
Wounds fresh and deep, carved by my heart's desire,
She doesn't share the same emotions for me, only her true love, my bitter enemy,
The hopes I once had, are now echos of glass that is shattered
I wrote this for a poetry/prose contest at Edward-cullen-fans, a twilight series fan club. This poem is told from Jacob Black's point of view. I really feel sorry for him, and I realy feel that he isn't proud of being a werewolf, and wants to be human He is also deeply torn that Bella doesn't share the same love for him that he does for her.
